WB004 - Service Desk Analyst

If you are looking for a Service Desk role and  interested in working for a leading IT Services provider to the e-commerce sector and are partners with one of the world's largest electronics companies, then we would like to hear from you.

We are currently seeking Service desk Analysts to join our  team whose key responsibilities will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for nGeneration Customers
  • Provide 1st line diagnosis and resolution.
  • Logging incidents/service requests from Customers received via telephone, email and Customer portal ensuring that they are processed accordingly
  • Provide an excellent level of customer service and value to the end users.
  • Ensure Customers are kept updated on progress of tickets.
  • Prioritisation and management of workload and tasks, working within contractual service level agreements.
  • Work in accordance to Company policies, procedures and standards.
  • Update and share knowledge gained.

It is essential that candidates also possess:

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • An understanding of Network Structure and Configuration
  • A basic understand of Database Structure alongside knowledge of Computer hardware and Windows XP/Vista/7 desktop support
  • Outstanding problem solving skills.

We would also ideally like candidates to have previous experience of working within the retail/hospitality sector and working with EPoS systems but this is not essential.

This role will be office based on a shift rota basis, please be aware that shifts are 12 hours on a 4 days on / 4 days off rota, our Service Desk is open from 07:00am to 01:00am, 365 days a year so the rota will involve working weekends and bank holidays.
